As far as I can tell, you aren't doing anything that is terribly wrong. You have at least 25 years to invest. If you are able to buy and forget, without switching funds, you should be going for maximum total return. The Fools recommend investing in the S&P500 index fund only, since most funds don't match it, in the long-run. OTOH, if you are satisfied with your returns, great.
