I am looking to rebalance my portfolio. I believe in the long term outlook of the
internet and specifically ISPs ATHM and AOL. I own both stocks in my port.
AOL makes up 21% and ATHM makes up 22%. My other stocks include CBS
at 20% and BYND at 7%, which I just purchased, and 4 FF stocks making up
the balance. I want to add $1K and I am thinking af selling my 100 shares of
CBS which would give me about $4500 total. I would then buy about $1500 of
each AOL and ATHM. The remaining $1500 would be invested in a new yet to
be determined stock. My concern is that I would be selling a winner. CBS is up
almost 100% for me and handily ahead of the SP 500. However I don't think it
will outperform AOL or ATHM. Both AOL and ATHM are up since I bought
them so I would be adding to winning positions. I would probably wait until after
CBS announces earnings which I expect to meet or exceed expectations before
I sell. Any advice would be appreciated.
