I feel for you about CSCO. To me they're not a "growth" company but are a major player in their market. I once bought them back in 2001 at around this same level and got out in 2007 around $26
They just didn't interest me any more.

CSCO keeps popping back up on my radar. I've watched them being installed lately in some public schools that used to have Nortel equipment. The contractor is creating a wireless network with Cisco equipment.

I think plenty of their business depends on their relationships they develope with different vendors and installation firms. How do you quantify that?

Cisco may offer top of the line equipment but price is everything today. They have to keep their prices competitive.

Now that they're paying a dividend, it's making me take a second look.
They could be a good place keeper for your money til something else comes along.
