I had a similar experience to Yi-Hsin Chang's in purchasing airline tickets from The three airports, anytime departure, one stopover, etc, etc.

No luck in trying to cancel the tickets, learning about the cancellation charge, receipt of the tickets. They arrived at a speed which was just slightly less than the speed of light.

Making a long story short, I finally reached a sentient being. My pleas of being a first time customer, willingness to bad mouth the company, never using the service again, cancelling the charges with AMEX, were finally accepted and the charges removed from my account. I will use the service again but with a lot more care.
