Re: EV Prices Plummetting

Fast forward to buying the newest Urban Assault Vehicle (Lincoln Navigator) and there was no options. The Tesla X was a dud from everything I read. Plus, no convenient charging stations for our usual trips.

Re: EV Prices Plummetting

Then you should get an EV. It eliminates all visits to local gas stations, replacing them with plugging in at home. Yes, this doesn't work as well if you can't charge at home.

Did you miss the part where I said long trips? I [more]

Re: EV Prices Plummetting

BTW, I'm not saying an EV fits your travel needs, just that I don't think there will be any lack of EV charging stations in the future.

I just can't stand waiting. If I could do the 500 mile trip on one tank of gas or one [more]

So, you are worried that there will be millions of EV sold and on the road and presumably there will be tens of thousands of gas stations shutdown and oil companies in decline, and there will be no entrepreneurs that see an opportunity to sell a [more]

I don't think that there is any reason to think that the number of gas station pumps per gas car is or will be the same as the number of EV chargers per EV.

All the stats you provided is for today. I'm more forward looking to [more]

What specific charging situation do you imagine takes too long or you? I charge my Model S about twice a week. It takes around 30 seconds.

My vehicle is for long mileage trips. As you mentioned in an earlier post, going from 20% to [more]

Re: Memory card error

Probably the most likely way to overcome this is to format the card in the camera you are going to use.

Hmm. I never thought of it that way.
I always thought of apples being more thin skinned, and therefore more easily bruised.

Angels on a pin.

You are like some other posters here. You take your personal situation and project it on others thinking they're in the same situation.

Let's compare oranges and apples next.

You summed up pretty much how I understand it. If you buy some free-range unwashed eggs from a nearby farm, go ahead and leave out on the countertop.

If I spend less on a woman, I have more to keep. That's true even if my wife earns three times as much as me. If I go buy flowers for her, there is a little less money for me (or us, of which I am half) to keep.
