An Interview with TMFBoiseKen

Last updated: 6/4/2015
The Fool:
If you had to pick an existing song title that best describes your life, what would it be?
TMFBoiseKen:
You & Me -- Dave Matthews.
The Fool:
What was your first educational exposure to investing?
TMFBoiseKen:
High school personal finance class. I remember a old man coming in and showing a chart explaining that if we save a little bit of money (like $100/month) starting at graduation, we will become millionaires.
The Fool:
Does ethics or 'socially responsible investing' have a place in your investment approach? How so? How not?
TMFBoiseKen:
Yes it does. I'm looking for green -- both in profit and in consciousness. We are not just investing for cash. We also have to invest for the long term -- that means making the earth a place we want to retire on. Why kill the planet, upset everybody, and oppress every working person? Doesn't seem like much of a legacy.
