My Story
Rick Aristotle Munarriz has been writing for the Fool since 1995. With thousands of Fool.com bylines to his credit, Rick has written for just about every online and offline feature in the Fool library. He created the Dueling Fools feature and invites anyone to argue otherwise. He has appeared on CNBC, Fox Business, CNBC Asia, CNN en Español, and NPR. He has been profiled in Individual Investor Magazine and speaks at investing forums. He was a contributing writer to The Motley Fool Investment Workbook.
Rick lives in Coral Gables, Fla., with his wife and two mischievous sons. He earned his MBA from the University of Miami in 1990. When he's not breaking down stocks or hunting for the perfect pun, he can be found either chasing record-breaking roller coasters or composing music. His band Paris By Air was signed to Sony's Columbia Records and released a few Billboard dance-chart singles a generation ago. One hit shy of being a one-hit wonder, he still keeps his synthesizer keyboards handy but these days prefers the computer keyboard.
In his spare time, he lends a hand to his family's frozen food distributorship, freelances as a writer and consultant, is a serial Webpreneur, and runs travel and edutainment sites through Siteclopedia.com. Call him a Fool? That would be music to his ears.
