An Interview with TMFJLo
Last updated: 9/10/2013
The Fool:
Briefly review your favorite book.
TMFJLo:
Dr. Seuss' "The Lorax" is a story about trees, love, common pool resources, imperfect information, and irrational consumers.
The Fool:
What industry do you follow most closely and why?
TMFJLo:
Rather than a specific industry, I follow a specific ideal. I admire companies that make decisions based on principles that their backward-looking competitors won't adopt for years. Whether it's environmental efficiency metrics or employee happiness, "first movers" on corporate responsibility, accountability, and transparency will reap returns down the road.
The Fool:
What's the best product you use that most people don't know about?
TMFJLo:
In Europe and many other parts of the world, showers have two knobs: one to control water temperature and one to control water pressure. You set the temperature to your ideal level, and NEVER have to touch it again. No more freezing cold or burning hot showers, no more precious minutes of your pre-work morning stolen by an angsty shower knob, the future is yours for the taking!
