Investing Basics

Investing Experience:
Medium High
Risk Tolerance:
High
Investing Style:
Long-Term Buy to Hold
Portfolio Size:
Large (12 or more Stocks)
Types of Investments:
I am constantly on the hunt for companies that I believe can grow for decades on end. When I find one, I buy it and dollar cost average into it over several years with the goal of adding at better and better value points (thanks Tom Engle for that advice!) If a company turns out to be a dud (as judge by business performance, not stock price performance) then I move it to hold and stop adding. I rarely sell (portfolio turnover <5% per year). I occasionally use options to scratch my activity itch, but keep my exposure quit low.
Stocks I Own:
AAXN, ABMD, ACN, ADBE, ADSK, ALGN, APPN, APPF, AMZN, AMT, ATVI, AYX, BL, BKNG, CMG, DIS, DNKN, DOCU, EA, ENV, EPAM, ETSY, FB, FDS, GOOG, GOOGL, GH, GME, HAS, HQY, HUBS, IDN, ISRG, LYV, MA, MDB, MELI, MKTX, MSFT, NFLX, NKE, NNOX, NVCR, OLED, PAYC, PCTY, PINS, PRLB, PYPL, QTWO, RDVT, SAM, SBUX, SFIX, SHOP, SMLR, SQ, STOR, SWAV, TTD, TSLA, TWLO, ULTA, V, Z, ZG, ZYXI Short Jan 2021 $180 PUTS on IBM, Short Jan 2021 $175 PUTS on IBM
