My Story

When I'm not writing stories for The Motley Fool, I'm on the go somewhere, whether it's trail running or driving my 41-year-old MG Midget. I have been a writer and editor for 40 years, mostly in sports but have a keen interest in the stock market, particularly in pharmaceutical stocks and high-dividend drawing stocks. I learned some of my investing style from my grandfather, who bought AT&T early and retired early as a consequence.

How I Invest

I take a long-term view on stocks, looking for quality companies that will survive any short-term bumps. I'm particularly interested in healthcare equities and solid dividend-producing companies in general.
