Investing Experience:
Risk Tolerance:
Investing Style:
Long-Term Buy to Hold
Portfolio Size:
Large (12 or more Stocks)
Types of Investments:
Personal portfolio is a mix of Rule Breaker and Stock Advisor recommendations with one or two personal selections thrown in. 401k through employer consisting of a mix of funds of large, mid and small caps plus international. Mix is balanced for long term growth and is only a very small % in bonds. A portion of my portfolio will most always be in my employer stock, which for me are holdings that come from compensation based grants and vest gradually over 4 years. My practice is to sell the stock as it vests but only ensuring long term cap gains tax rates. When I sell the stock, the money will go back into my personal portfolio and RB/SA picks. Reserve Portfolio: A pool of investments that represents about 2 years of living expenses. Investments in this pool consist of large cap, dividend paying stocks plus bond ETFs. Not quite considered to be an emergency fund, it could be used as that if needed, combined with my other cash savings. I want to lean and start to trade in Options in the next year.
Stocks I Own:
AAPL, GOOG, SBUX, BIDU, MELI, CMG, AMZN, IPGP, MNST, PANL, Z, GHDX, ATW, NFLX, WPRT, LNKD, TIBX, PRLB, IMAX, MAKO ... and am looking forward to adding more
