An Interview with eXMFJCar

Last updated: 2/12/2015
The Fool:
How do you define success?
eXMFJCar:
I have this saying "Head, Heart, Health" that plays into my definition of success. Every day I try to become more intelligent, healthier, and a better human being (heart) than the day before. I'd define success as a person that's able to do the aforementioned things most days.
The Fool:
If you could go back in time and witness one event in history, what would you go back and see?
eXMFJCar:
For balance, I'd love to go back to Oct. 28, 1929. It was the start of the Great Depression - it would be good to remember that things have been worse and we've always bounced back stronger.
The Fool:
What's been your best investment to date, and how did you discover it?
eXMFJCar:
My best investment is also my worst. In the midst of the huge market meltdown, I bought Ford bonds for $0.12 on the dollar. Three weeks later they offered $0.32 per and I agreed. Last time I checked those bonds traded at $1.40 on the dollar.
