My Story

I am the founder and CEO of the personal finance blog missmoneybox.com.au. Miss Money Box is an educational blog to help Australian women expand their general knowledge around personal finance. I’m currently undertaking my Master of Research in the discipline of Economics, Finance and Marketing at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT). My thesis is exploring the barriers women face in engaging with the investment services industry. Thanks to my entrepreneurial dad, money has always been a big part of my life. I was running a successful cottage industry by the time I was 12 and quoting daily buy and sell movements on the stock exchange in my early teens. I think the financial services industry needs to better cater to the needs of women, starting from the way superannuation and investment products designed are marketed.
