An Interview with yttire

Last updated: 1/30/2004
The Fool:
As a former child and possibly parent of one now, share your best advice about raising children.
yttire:
The best advice I can give is- be respectful. Be respectful to yourself, you can not achieve everything, and you are doing the best you can. Be respectful to your child, for they deserve all the love and respect they can get. Apologize to yourself, and to your child, but only in the sense of not being as loving as you could potentially be, for there is always room for growth and this will allow you to reach towards your potential.
The Fool:
Describe the most embarrassing personal moment you'll admit to!
yttire:
The moment I realized that the world didn't rate me nearly as high as I thought it did. Constantly realizing this really. It is humbling, and embarrassing, but probably a good thing.
The Fool:
Are we alone in the universe? If not, where is everybody?
yttire:
Are you referring to the questioner and myself, in a solipsistic way? If so, that is truly eerie- for you are a computer asking me canned questions, so I am then forced to believe I am the only being in the universe, which I tend to reject out of hand, for it would be a pretty lonely place to be if I were the only one.

But in the off chance you are asking if there are other intelligent being in the universe, I must ask if you are talking about the multiverse of quantum worlds, or the multiverse of other universes which probably exist, or simply our own little galactic neighborhood. In all cases- I think there are others, but so far away- we will only see the shadows of their movements, and probably already are in the graceful arcs of the celestial objects.
