Currently I invest 10% pretax and get a 50% match. Now, the company is proposing that it matches 100% of the first 3% and then 50% of 4% for a total of 7% matched funds..supposedly I get the same return only spending 7% as I did at 10%. I am not convinced this is a good thing.
I think I lose something in pre-tax dollars and matching funds or something..Any ideas? Or is this really a good change?
I look forward to the replies!
