I think that the author of that post should have been a little more realistic. How long has MS been offering the cert courses compared to RH? When you get your employees MS certified, odds are you're using an MS OS in house. What did it cost you to outfit your shop with MS the licenses? What did it cost you to outfit your shop with Red Hat 6.1? Global Knowledge is offering RH cert classes all over the place (well, many major markets at least), so there's not a specific need to go to Durham for the classes... RH could charge three times as much for their cert classes and it would still be less expensive for a company overall. And, BTW, who spends $5000 on an employee and let's them walk out the door the following week without being reimbursed?
