"Aviation fuel is even more expensive than automobile gasoline. A rechargeable plane would be a bargain." intercst

Aviation fuel was $5.49/gallon at the Shelbyville Airport about a week ago. The price varies quite a bit from Airport to Airport. My wife's cousin, Johnny, who flies for Fed-Ex, told me that Aviation fuel in Nashville is $8.00/gallon. Johnny told me he paid ~ $6.00/gallon for Aviation fuel.

Aviation fuel is much higher octane than regular gas and has lead in it. Johnny told me it would burn out my catalytic converter in my car and probably also burn up my engine.
