Yesterday I bought 4 oz lox (cured salmon), a small container of whipped cream cheese, a red onion, & fresh dill. I was planning to fix my own lox spread to enjoy w/cucumber rounds, celery sicks & radishes for lunch.

but after my morning coffee, I had SUCH a hankering for bagel & lox :-/

So I thawed a frozen Ezekial sprouted grain English muffin, toasted it, spread each half w/cream cheese, pressed a dozen capers into each, added a thin slice of onion, ad topped w/1 oz of lox. I didn't want that much breadstuff, so I gave half to the hubster. We both loved it--what a treat!

What I need is a tasty Lc bagel or English muffin, although each half of the Ezekial muffin has only 6g net carbs.
