You brought up a great point here. Sustained economic growth is impossible due to the laws of nature. The physical world has its own system of checks and balances. When a predator's needs outweigh the capacity of their habitat to fulfill these needs, the predator's population collapses. Humans are part of the food web and when we have pushed our planet to its limits we will reap our own demise. I just wonder how long will in take before our economic machine implodes.
