my point was C-peptide is an unknown, possibly a big one. You cannot factually deny that. so, leave it at that. on the other hand the statement "has no meaningful impact on diabetic complications" is not a fact, and there are data inconsistent with that statement. of course it is agreed that "normal blood sugar is needed", but is not a fact that "normal blood sugar is all that is needed", that is not yet established.

please don't be loose with what is and is not a fact.
