"Depending on how much you have to invest $500 is likely a pittance. Pushing too hard for $500 a year...it sounds like a good deal to me. But you know some folks know the price of everything and value of nothing.

What they have is institutional relationship with Ameritrade. There are mutual fund classes which are available there that are not available on a retail account. Again all the dribble about that was total BS.

The Funds recommended don't pay trail fees or 12-b 1 fees, the hysteria about that was just ignorance. The people who gave it just don't know what they are talking about. No one at the Network collects trail fees. So all that dribble, BS, too.

Remember Shorty the worst enemy of a good plan is the dream of a perfect one."

Nice slick sales pitch- get past those objections, then sell, sell, sell!

And that, folks, is a big part of the problem with the financial planning industry- you never know if you have a planner who cares about your finances more than his own cut (and it doesn't matter if he's commission, fee based, or fee only).

There's only one financial planner you can really trust to look out for your interests first, and he doesn't charge a fee or a commission...
