"Drugs will still get in by going under, over, and around the wall - and long as there is a market. Again, if we focus on the users, distributors, and get THOSE criminals stopped, the illegal drug flow stops."

i am imagining what happens when we arrest "hollywood" en masse, along with much of corporate might be fun. would Democrats be ok with arresting users? raiding parties? i am remembering a scandal in small town texas (tulia?)in which much of the town was arrested.

seriously, the move to decriminalize drug use is at loggerheads with your suggested crackdown.

I agree with your assessment, and would add that organized crime has a significant stake in drug traffic, and they have also become quite adept at political power. Either way, the wall would do little in that regard.
