I do a lot of cooking in the microwave using leftovers.

I had a great one-bowl "dump" soup for dinner last night.

I live in a retirement community that provides breakfast plus one other meal. Yesterday, I ordered my meal to take home:

• Philly cheesesteak, no bun, extra meat, extra onions and peppers
• Asparagus and red bell pepper veggie side

I combined those in a microwave safe bowl with leftovers and ingredients I had at home:

• Small leftover filet mignon
• Leftover oven-roasted cabbage steak
• Rao's Alfredo sauce
• Rao's Marinara sauce
• Two slices of Sargento Colby Pepper Jack cheese
• Italian seasoning, black pepper, smoked paprika

Took about 5 minutes in the microwave, with several intermediate stirs.

It was great, but some sauteed mushrooms would really have pushed it over the top.
