"I don't answer the phone when I'm eating. Or cooking. Or doing housework. Or driving. Or in a waiting room/dr's office/post office.... Or doing anything, really! Only answer if I'm sitting down next to my phone or taking a walk, and I know the caller."

I try to follow that procedure - but recently we have been waiting on calls from doctors, pharmacies,
relatives and all sorts of folk who have promised or indicated they will do their best to call
back - and so have spoken to a wonderful assortment of foreigners and folks who use English as a
second or third or farther removed language - many of whom seem to work for Medicare Services or
other agencies which do not quite match the name of valid agencies - and some of whom work for
Amazon, various credit card companies or the FBI and other nefarious law agencies.

I am slowly becoming more saddened by the state of criminals in the world. They are more and more
like the agencies they imitate and the agencies are more and more like the criminals.
There are good people in the world - but they seem to be having less and less influence on the
actions of their groups.

just somewhat down in the dumps I guess.
