I hear you, Andy. But name any part of Social Security that is "simple."

Name any law passed by Congress that is simple.

Name any insurance policy that you can actually read and understand.

Bill Gates and Microsoft perfected the technique of FUD (spreading, uncertainty, and doubt as a defensive tactic against competitors). Labor unions use it all the time to defeat political programs they don't like. This is standard politics.

Anyone who has ever been through a major disruption such as a corporate merger knows the way to get through it is to reassure people the company plans to take care of them. And we can get through this successfully.

Buying auto insurance is no different. You shop for the best plan. Buy from an agent you trust if his policy meets your needs at a fair price.

Part D is not magic. It is typical govt. But sorting through your choices is not a big deal. Just sit down and get your information together so you can check it off.
