"Mid-terms are usually bad for the party in the White House. Not this time. I anticipate the Republicans will increase their majority."

The best way to ensure that is for Trump to go on the stomp for as many of them as possible between now and November. Republicans don't have any real luminaries either, and nobody brings in the feverish crowds like Trump.

Hi all

Just thought I would repost some of this given how accurate it has turned out to be.

The only evidence of Russian collusion is between the FBI/DOJ and the DNC! I think that there is more to come out here, who was Carter Page working for?

I knew there was more to Carter Page than meets the eye, I trust that you are all aware that he previsouly worked for US Intelligence against the Russians.

Well if you want a possible explanation of what has gone on here best you read this

https://www.steynonline.com/8667/tinker-tailor-clapper-carte...

Trump is going to gain support from the Dem's from all working class Americans regardless of race or gender.

Have you seen the latest polls showing a massive jump in Black Americans support for Trump? Now some silly Dem will post a response to this about how its not true. Well they can tell themselves that but the reality is that the dam is breaking.

This is a real serious long term problem for the dems. Trump is going to take a percentage of Black American votes which by itself is enough to maintain dominance in the House and Senate plus he is going to take blue collar workers.

The Dems have no policy positions with mass appeal

I was mistaken they do have policies that appeal to MS13 and Iran.

And I still stand by this comment

Mid-terms are usually bad for the party in the White House. Not this time. I anticipate the Republicans will increase their majority.

Hi all

I am back with my 2018 mid-term prediction thread. As you all know I am predicting the GOP will gain seats in both houses in Nov thus going against most historical trends.

Principally this view was based on the performance of the President and in particular the economy which is overwhelming.

What we can now add to this is that Democrats are now busily making themselves unelectable

The Democrat position now seems to be no borders at all! Make no mistake whoever things not being strong on borders and immigration is not a vote winner is an idiot. Trump already knew this that's why it was the first thing he said when he nominated. This factor alone will ensure GOP victory

In fact the Dem's are not only making themselves unelectable this election but the one after as well. The base has become socialist, thats why Sanders got all the votes he did and with Hilary out of the way the flood gates have opened so we are seeing more hard left candidates and policies.

Now you may think after the 2018 loss positions will be moderated for 2020. That's where you would be mistaken. Instead the party will move even more to the left. The dedicated socialists will see the 2018 losses as an opportunity to purge the party of the remaining moderates, thus radicalizing the party further. These socialists are hard core, dedicated and driven they will not stop until they have complete control of the party

the economy which is overwhelming.

The Dow giving back its gains for the year, Labor participation rate going down, GDP growth rate dropping, trade war, businesses leaving . . . it's tremendous!

Hi all

Just as we are getting closer to the mid-terms thought I would revist this thread and its predications.

- I predict the GOP will gain seats in both houses in Nov
- Principally due to the performance of the President and in particular the economy which is overwhelming.

But now let me add even more reasons

- The Kavanaugh appointment - The behavoir of the Dems was appalling. This party is pushing moderate democrats away from it.

- Black american vote - Not sure if I mentioned this before but the President has been chipping away at it.

Don't pay attention to the polls. A Trump supporter either does not respond to polls or when they do they lie.

I am now starting to wonder what will happen when the President leaves office. Is this now a movement that cannot be stopped?

The left have completly lost control of the agenda. But they still control the media and academia.

After the Nov lost, what them go absolutley apolectic. They will have fits.

Nothing can match the shock and dismay of liberals after Trump's victory in 2016.

I hope you are right in predicting a Republican victory in November, but while election gain in the Senate seem likely, election losses in the House are a matter of history. b If Republicans manage to hold on to the House and make gains in the Senate, they will be doing VERY well.

Never underestimate the ability of a republican majority to
mess up royally and pass anti-conservative legislation.

Remember, the goal for both the Republican and Democratic parties is
exactly the same - get re-elected and pass on bennies to the people
who donate money to their re-election campaigns.

An excellent post Crusader...

I am now starting to wonder what will happen when the President leaves office. Is this now a movement that cannot be stopped?

Correct. This is the second American revolution and we are not going back. The days of the Globalists are numbered.

Heh, heh! How would you prevent him from leaving?

Besides, I imagine Sarah Palin would be willing to take over....

Actually the real question is what makes you think that We The People, The Deplorables will elect another Globalist clown to the Presidency?

Something is wrong with history then because ever since we elected Donald Trump the Globalists are besides themselves. The screaming, the whining, the tantrums, the crying, the tears, the ranting, the denials, the meltdowns along with the stupidity, impotence, arrogance and imbecility of these people is breathtaking. And as time goes on, it is getting worse!

The beauty of the whole thing is that this spectacle is adding to the resolve of We The People to stay the course.

I hope that's the case.

Nothing more entertaining than liberals beside themselves with rage because they lose an election, the House, the Senate, most governorships and state legislatures and the Supreme Court!

Still, history suggests that Republican insiders will recapture control of the Republican Party and again exploit working class unhappiness to pass their own agenda, as they have for many decades until 2016.

Unfortunately, working class voters lack the political sophistication, money and organization to duke it out with Republican elites and win on any kind of reliable basis. That's my judgment, anyway.

Except we are no longer Republicans and Democrats but Patriots and traitors.

If you want to be specific, We The People are the Patriots aka Deplorables and Globalists are the traitors.

Yes, we still have the old nomenclature of Democrats and Republicans - the Globalists like to hide behind those labels - but a traitor by any other name is still a traitor. We The People are aware of the fact and most important, increasingly so as time goes on.

Finally I don't see us going back to to having the Globalist traitors in charge of our government ever again.
