"Much has been written in the popular press about "Old" vs "New" economies. I'm wondering, is this a "Gorilla Economy? I'd be interested in seeing how other gorillas have done since late Jan . . ."

Here's a chart of the generally accepted gorillas, with a young-un added in for sake of comparison. I'm not a chartist by any stretch of the imagination, but it is obvious that any of us "poor bastards" that invested pure gorilla plays last January would have beat any of the major indices, and still may have even showed a profit - Unless one put a disproportionate number of ones eggs in MSFT . . .
