"My biggest struggle is knowing when to let go and sell at a loss. I'm pretty stubborn so I keep hanging in on a few stocks that are down substantially and/or have cut dividends."

Want me to tell you about the time my investment club was deciding how & when to sell our Riblet stock (recommended by our broker)? Don't bother to look it up, they went out of business long time ago. So long ago that stock quotes were in fractions instead of decimals.

Bought at 7 3/4,
currently at 6
"We'll wait until it gets to 6 1/2 and then we'll sell."

"We'll wait until it gets to 4 3/4 and then we'll sell."
....
etc.

"We'll wait until it gets to 1 1/4 and then we'll sell."
