Sorry, but I think today's column about lay-offs is really rather odd, to say the least, in the current TMF context, and the closing sentence seems more than a little "off." Correct me if I'm wrong, but those folks didn't leave -- they were laid off (aka, fired), just like all those in the companies being written about.

Granted, TMF is not a public company, but one might have expected somewhat more serious reflection on its recent situation/actions from whomever on the front page... rather than today's evasion of that topic.
