Rainier. First off, you put anyone who disagrees with the government's story in one box. You assume I (and every skeptic) fit into this box nicely. You make out as if we have an agenda.
I am a scientist. I thought similar as your current approach. I thought skeptics were retards. And then recently, I started to actually read both sides. Both sides make compelling cases. Many world class physicists do not believe that human released CO2 are significantly accelerating the earth's rise in temperature. They are the minority. Then again, as I well know, there is absurd pressure in my industry to conform to standard government thinking as government funds most research. I'm lucky enough to be mostly funded through a private company.
The point is, skeptics are not all retards. Proponents are not all retards. It is possible to look at all data presented and realize that we don't yet have enough to make definitive conclusions. We have much to learn. The debate is not over.
All your article showed was that an individual was skeptical of the fact that the earth was warming. Now he is not. He makes no claims about human induced global warming.
