Re: Over Roasting of the beans.

I too would have to disagree. I recently purchased a medium roast from the grocery store (not many Peet's shops in Chicago) and found it to be closer to mild. I have moved away from SBUX over the years, precisely because the coffee often smells burnt. My concern with the company (peets), as they expand, is their ability to mass produce without turning their coffee into overcooked beans, like I feel SBUX has over the years. I would be interested in knowning what the company plans on doing with the new roasting cite they just purchased.
