I guess I should have put Dad in "quotes" in this sentence. I did mention that I don't believe he actually ever personally drove any of these cars.

My Grandfather (Dad's Dad) was a Nash/AMC man. I can just vaguely recall his "bathtub" model, (actually, I remember the stripped mohair upholstrey), and after that he drove Ambassador Station Wagons until he died in '65. His 64 was the first car I saw that had factory air. Up here in Nothern Minnesota that was considered almost eccentric.
