Well we agreed to a longer contract that I thought I would. We are 6 to 8 weeks from going on the market. I hadn't considered the time before going on the market. The length of the contract isn't going to make any difference. Average time to an accepted offer is less than two weeks.

A similar house on a busier street is now sale pending. It was on the market less than two weeks, and the offer is for $45K over asking price. The only other house in the area is in bad shape and I thought wouldn't get there asking price is now under offer around $50K over asking price.
