Hi Drippers!

I have been Dripping into O for the past three years, or so. I use Computershare to do this.

I saw, last week, that O is acquiring VEREIT. As part of this, they will spin off a portion of their combined properties as a new REIT (called, for now?, 'SPINCO').

While I can see that VEREIT shareholders will get .705 shares of O for each share they hold, I am not clear as to what will happen to shareholders of O

Also, as I am using Computershare to DRIP in, I am unclear (assuming I am allocated a share of O and a share of 'SPINCO') how computershare will handle this action.

Has anyone encountered this type of corporate action within a transfer agent ecosystem? Any tips on where to look (Computershare said 'we are unaware of any corporate actions announced by Realty Income Corporation' when I did chat with agent) to try to figure this out?

I guess I am wondering if I will be forced to sell some holdings, if Computershare cant allow me to have positions in 'SPINCO' and O
