I plan to retire in five years.
Right now I have 35% of my assets in cash, 50% in various funds that are in IRA and
401k mostly in Growth and value, 10% in Gov. securities mutual fond and thw rest in
morgage backed securities.
What is the right mix for my age?

Sounds to conservative - need more in stock.

Get your cash into the IRA and some high yield bonds if you like bonds. The reason is you want income producing assets in the IRA and growth assets out side of the IRA. This will help cut down on your taxes.
