I refinanced my Home mortgage loan in 2000.

Just wondering if any of the approx. $520 of closing costs (appraisal fee, credit report fee, documentation fee, etc.) associated with this refinancing can be deducted at all on my tax return for 2000?

Also, for this refinancing, I took out a short-term credit card cash advance (= "loan") to paydown on my Loan balance in order to avoid any PMI payments. Is any of the interest incurred in paying back this credit card "loan" deductable??

Thanks in advance for any assistance. QS80
