I just went on Medicare and had my first "wellness" visit. I called it a physical, they call it a wellness visit. Whatever.
Anyway, I was very happy with the doctor and her thoroughness.
She took a very long detailed history of my health.
I received three shots, one for pneumonia, one for shingles and one for tetanus. A colonoscopy would have been free if I had wanted one.
I also got an EKG.
My husband and I are paying a total of about $400 a month and that's because we have an advantage plan that also covers drugs.
I think this is a steal.
We are working hard to keep ourselves as healthy as possible.
We are retired and keeping ourselves healthy and fit has turned into
a full time job!
