I think it is sour grapes and utter hogwash!!

Anyone who wants to have a good retirement can do it! All it takes is saving as much as possible early in one's career. Even with a meager salary, if you save 30% of every dollar you make, you'll have a great retirement.

Of course, to do this, you have plan carefully, and live well below your means, a feat that most people refuse to do.

If you live large in your 20's and 30's, you make a comfortable retirment very hard to achieve!
