Yes, exactly. Which is why no matter how often you prove that autism is not related to vaccinations, a lot of people will always suspect that it is; people believe in chemtrails; people still claim that no airplane crashed at the Pentagon on 9/11 despite all the people who actually saw the plane; etc. etc.

You don't even have to make a claim, just ask the question. Before long, a rumor starts.

So, do you think the GOP is deliberately trying to crash the economy and destroy health care because they secretly think reducing the U.S. population is the best way to combat climate change?
