At 88 years of age with no dependents and about $650,000 in stocks and bonds, how do I determine how much capital I can draw on per year? I also have income from a Trust Fund. That and my Social Security total about $15,000 a year.

Due to a Scottish background, I have never borrowed or spent much on myself. However, should I reach 100 years,I want to be sure I don't find myself out on the street with a begging cup.

Is anyone else in the same situation?
