If you're reading this and truly retired, I hope you're enjoying your retirement.

From what I see on these boards and elsewhere it seems to me that a lot of folks, who are otherwise okay financially and healthy, seem to be sort of unhappy because they feel they SHOULD be doing (fill in the blank) or don't know what they can do to fill in their time.

C'mon, now. If you retired, I assume you did so on a plan of sorts, so enjoy it! Never mind what you think you should be doing, do what you want to do! As I posted elsewhere, if you're not harming anyone else, relax! Want to just goof off? Do it. Want to read a book? Do it. Able to enjoy sex or hobbies? Do it -- any time of day or night.

We spent a lot of our lives doing what we needed to do; now it's our time to do what we want to do. You only come around once.

My two cents.
