Hello fellow Fools!! I am new to Motley Fools and looking for some retirement advice. Below is my current distribution of Investments, Balances and Debt. I’m an overseas military contractor, so my tax liability is very small.

I'm looking for some advice on the best strategy to maximize my investments while at the same time protecting my investments for retirement in 8+ years.

1. Planned Retirement – 8-10 yrs. (71-73 yrs. of age)
2. Current Roth IRA value – $60,000; Yearly contribution – $6500
3. Current 401K value – $30,000; Yearly contribution – $19000
4. Current Equity Investment account value – $10,000
5. Mutual Fund account value – $97,000
6. Income available to invest – $3000 / month
7. Home Mortgage Balance – $270,000 (Current Value; $350,000)
8. Student Loan Balance - $50,000
