TMF Pixy, I appreciate your candid remarks regarding the retirement of the retiree ports. I'd like to thank you for all the time you've invested in this strategy test.

The results from this past year have certainly driven home for me (and I hope for many others!) one point of portfolio allocation--including bonds in the retirement strategy. Anyone who has suffered losses in their portfolios (retired or otherwise) during the past nine months should be more aware than ever that whatever percentage one uses as an "average annual return" does not mean that the return in any given year or years will actually approach that "return".

I'm sure that you've said it elsewhere, but just to remind me, how many years worth of withdrawals do you recommend be kept in bonds/CDs or other less volatile assets?
