Who would I reach out to for a review of my stock portfolio? I have been buying stock on eTrade and looking for someone to review what I have purchased. Maybe tell me to sell and/or buy more of another, etc.
If you will post your Portfolio on CAPs, you will see immediately which of your stocks are rated high or low there. Plus others will be able to look it over.Usually you can find people here who will comment plus or minus on stocks they know. But detailed review is not common. At this point the S&P has recovered about 27% from the bottom. But it still has a way to go. There is still potential to buy good stocks with recovery potential for those who think long term.
Your question is why most people need an advisor.Even if you plan to do most of the trading/investing yourself with a discount broker, I highly recommend an advisor also. The average household has nearly 3 accounts/advisors, so this is nothing new.
