US Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has said his country has a "moral imperative" to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons.

America's first 'moral imperative' is to prove convincingly Iran is doing anything it is not legitimately entitled to under its membership of the NPT.
At the moment it's like two American football teams playing a game without a ball and vowing not to let the other side score a goal. Both know there isn't a ball but can't get out of the pretence.

Mr Romney also referred to Jerusalem as Israel's "capital"

I'll say anything for you to make me President.

In his speech in front of Jerusalem's Old City, Mr Romney said Iran's leading ayatollahs were "testing our moral defences".

"They want to know who will object and who will look the other way. We will not look away nor will our country ever look away from our passion and commitment to Israel."

America, with an empire in decline can't afford the luxury of morality. In the last decade America has acted completely immoral. Britain, my country, more-so for going along with your misdeeds.
Shame on you, shame on us.
Get Blair in a criminal court.

'our passion and commitment to Israel.'
