Maybe if Apple focused more time on integrating their technologies for businesses and networks and less time coming up with fancy colored cubes they call computers...they might actually make some money.

It's not surprising to me at all. This has been a tough year for a lot of computer and computer part manufacturers. Many have went under, have been bought out, or have laid off workers. The margins are just too low.

Hardware and software has advanced so far that average users can do just about anything simply. Why pay more for a computer and software that won't work with anything else?

It's perhaps the arrogance of Apple that will set them back the most. Less and less people consider them to be a superior computer than years ago, and they can't just automatically expect schools, not-for-profits. and government agencies with small budgets to default to buying an Apple computer anymore.

Slick advertising and fancy designs will only work for so long. And, I think that is a good analogy of the Apple stock...bloated and riding high on commercial "value".
