Hello all, I'm not retired yet but I do seek the wisdom of those who are - and others of course. I have been investigating these publically traded royalty trusts (ie., natural gas, or oil trusts such as LRT, TRU,SBR,SJT,PBT,WTU, and others. They are paying remarkable dividends right now (some higher than 22% yield per year). Plus, some apparently qualify for energy investment tax breaks (section 29?) and a depreciation allowance. Do any of you invest in these - what is the risk? and, where can I find some good information on this type of investment. thanks so much in advance, rich (but not very)
