Hi all!

I've been reading with interest the new info on how well RS investing has worked since 1969. I have two questions on the subject:

First: Do we have back testing data on the FF for the same period? I know that there is 39 year data on the FF board but I dont know how to work out the CAGR myself. (sorry!)

Also, I see that if you had started an RS-26 port in Feb of 1969, your CAGR for the period of 69-85 would be pretty dismal compared to the rest of the months (only 6.63%) What does this mean? If you start in the wrong month you will never recover? March was a little better at 9.82.

Does this suggest that some type of market timing would be beneficial?

Thanks all for all your help!!!
