Things I have learned along the way:

1. Never ask a woman when she is due. (She may not be "due.")

2. Never drive behind a guy with a mattress on his car roof. (The twine may snap.)

3. Never trust an intrinsic value estimate that is taken out two decimal points.

Case in point: this fellow's estimate that Dawson Geophysical is overvalued by 106.78%.

Interesting to read Jim Gillies analysis, and how his quick study suggests Dawson may be substantially undervalued.

Yes I realize Jim takes his valuation out two decimal points, but knowing Jim I suspect this is for teaching purposes only; i.e., Jim knows readers like to "look over his shoulder" and see if they get the same number in their spreadsheet that he does.

Beware of false precision.
