Your analogy would be more accurate if people were putting all their money in just one of these stocks and didn’t have any other assets. The prudent investor would not do this they would spread assets across several of these high growth stocks in their
aggressive portfolio. Also, this is just one portion of my assets. I, and probably most, have other investments for retirement. I have my these
High growth investments in my Roth IRA and my more conservative in my 401k.
